Author Biography:

Mary Berman is a Philadelphia-based writer of science fiction, fantasy, and horror. She earned her MFA in fiction from the University of Mississippi, and her work has been published in Fireside, Cicada, Daily Science Fiction, and elsewhere. In her spare time, she takes fitness classes and antagonizes her cat. Find her online at www.mtgberman.com. Stephen Volk is best known as writer of the BBC's notorious Halloween hoax Ghostwatch and the ITV paranormal drama series Afterlife. His other screenplays include The Awakening (2011), Midwinter of the Spirit (2015), and Gothic starring Natasha Richardson as Mary Shelley. He is a BAFTA winner, two-time British Fantasy Award winner, and the author of three collections: Dark Corners, Monsters in the Heart, and The Parts We Play, while The Dark Masters Trilogy consists of stories featuring Peter Cushing, Alfred Hitchcock and Dennis Wheatley respectively. His astringent non-fiction is collected in Coffinmaker's Blues: Collected Writings on Terror. www.stephenvolk.net.
