Sandy Mitchell is the pseudonym of Alex Stewart, who has been working as a freelance writer for the last few decades. Popular with Black Library readers as the author of the Ciaphas Cain novels, he also writes for television, working on the BBC TV hi-tech espionage series Bugs.
