Pat Liddy grew up in Phibsborough on Dublin's northside, and remains a Dublin resident. He has a passion for exploring historic places and his weekly illustrated series, 'Dublin Today' in the Irish Times, attained wide critical acclaim and immense popularity. He is the author of 11 books on Dublin, including Secret Dublin (New Holland).
