The MET's production of Richard Wagner's great operatic hymn of love, Tristan und Isolde, new in fall of 1999, stars the reigning Wagnerians of the new century, Ben Heppner and Jane Eaglen and will be available on video for the first time to the public. Tristan und Isolde is the second project of the expanded collaboration between Deutsche Grammophon and The Metropolitan Opera. Starring Ben Heppner, Jane Eaglen, Katarina Dalayman, Metropolitan Opera Chorus, and the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra.
