Description

James Levine conducts famed Tannhäuser performance at the Met. This classic Otto Schenk production of Tannhäuser is conducted by James Levine and filmed live by Brian Large at the Metropolitan Opera in 1982. Celebrated heldentenor Richard Cassilly sings the title role alongside an all-star cast featuring Eva Marton, Tatiana Troyanos, and Bernd Weikl.
