As awesome as the 6" Voltrons is, the metallic version howerver is a big let down. It basically looks like the normal 6" Voltron. There is no clear difference between the 2 like there is on the normal & metallic version of Voltron #70

This item was a bit of a let down. The pop design is great, and it's a decent purchase when it's the same price as the regular version, but there's almost no difference between the two. The black has a bit of a pearlescence to it (not metallic), and there are a couple different shades compared to the regular version (darker yellow, different green etc) but the only metallic part is the blue lion. So my Voltron has a shiny leg, that's it.

The overall design of the figure is good. The major let down is this metallic version is barely metallic at all. As mentioned in other reviews the blue lion is metallic however the other lions are just bolder than the original paint version. The black parts are glittery or Pearlescent. Luckily the price on MA is the same, and I don’t own the other version otherwise I would have been really upset.
