Author Biography:

Dilin Liu is Professor of Applied Linguistics/TESOL at the University of Alabama. His research focuses on corpus-based English language description/learning/teaching. He has published extensively including six books and numerous articles in journals, such as Applied Linguistics, Cognitive Linguistics, ESP, Modern Language Journal, Studies in Second Language Acquisition, and TESOL Quarterly. Lei Lei is Professor of English at the School of Foreign Languages, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China. His current research interests include academic English and corpus linguistics. He has published extensively at journals such as Journal of English for Academic Purposes, Journal of Quantitative Linguistics, and Scientometrics.
