Description

Life was going well for MD in Jacksonville, FL. His new fiancé is pregnant. He ran several successful businesses and finally escaped that Urban Mind State, or so he thought. After his mother was raped and left for dead, MD found himself on a murderous rampage that led him back to Memphis. Against his better judgment, he collaborates with his nemesis and former best friend to protect his family from the streets, the cartel, and his family curse. This follow-up story takes you on a journey from Houston to Memphis as MD fights for his freedom and his family by any means necessary, even if that means running back to the streets. It's a race against time. Will he be sucked back into the streets fulfilling the Daniels curse? Or will he free himself and those he loves before it's too late?

Author Biography:

A.C. Jones was raised in South Memphis, TN, from a very early age. Enticed by the allure of the streets, he became a product of the environment quickly while becoming exposed to drugs, gangs, violence, and hustling. Unlike many of his peers, he had praying parents and grandparents who were relentless in trying to convince him to leave Memphis. After brief run-ins with the law, Jones finally married and left Memphis. Now a firefighter paramedic, husband, business owner, and father of four, he has earned a bachelor's degree from Valdosta State University and a Master's degree from Columbia Southern University. Never forgetting the life lessons he learned from the streets, he has proven that you can overcome an Urban Mind State.
