Author Biography:

Anne Haila is Professor of Urban Studies at the Universityof Helsinki, Finland. She was previously Professor at theAgricultural University of Norway and Senior Fellow at the NationalUniversity of Singapore. She is the author of manypeer-reviewed journal articles on urban land rent theory and othertopics in urban economics.
