Hollywood renegade Jack Hussar returns to LA to complete the financing for his next feature film. A notorious womaniser, drinker and gambler Jack over the course of one long night’s journey into day traverses outrageous industry parties, the wrong side of the law, seduces the stunning Diana and sits down to a marathon poker game that will see in the sunrise. Years later his son Jack Jnr embarks on his own directorial debut in a Hollywood aware that the shadow of his own iconoclastic father’s legacy follows him everywhere. But in new Hollywood the values have changed and despite its glossy appearance the past is ever present. A criss-crossing and time shifting adaptation of a modern Leo Tolstoy short story, Two Jacks is a comic and heartfelt look at what sets us apart from our environment and anchors us in reality no matter the journey.
