Author Biography:

JONATHAN HOLLOWELL is Lecturer in Politics at St Peter's College, Oxford. He is co-editor of the journal European Review of History/Revue europeenne d'Histoire and former Research Fellow at the Institute of Contemporary British History. His publications include Britain since 1945.
