"Fantastic sequel to Trickers’ Choice"
5 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

As the ending to a series (and current standing end of Tortallan plot lines) it is amazing. Tamora covers all the loose ends not only from Trickers’ Choice, but from the other three quartets (Song of the Lioness, Immortals, and Protector of the Small). All the characters get suitable endings and it has enough twists and turns to keep it interesting and fresh. 10/10

Tamora Pierce is a good story teller. Her books are very descriptive and easy to follow if you have read her pervious books.

Description

Aly's adventure continues. . . . No longer a slave, Alanna's daughter is now spying as part of an underground rebellion against the colonial rulers of the Copper Isles. The people in the rebellion believe that a prophecy in which a new queen will rise up to take the throne is about to be realized. Aly is busy keeping the potential teenage queen and her younger siblings safe, while also keeping her in the dark about her future. But Aly, who is usually adept at anticipating danger and changes, is in for a few nasty surprises.

The 2 Tricksters / Daughter of the Lioness books are set in the same world as the Song of the Lioness and The Immortals series.
