Description

Using over 270 photos taken in Australia, New Zealand, Europe and Turkey, John and Bunny Mortimer show the wonderful range of colours and textures of bark from a selection of trees growing in temperate and sub-temperate climates. With 30,000 words, they tell the history of trees, how specimens were discovered and what they were used for.
