Traveler's Challenge is a record book listing the 1,000 most important and fascinating places in the World. The purpose is to give the traveler a list to record achievements and to suggest new possibilities for travel experience. The record book is divided into countries and is further divided into city or area locations. Each city or area location lists the most important sites of interest to the really sophisticated traveler. These important sites are called "travel goals" because they represent the one thousand travel goals every sophisticated traveler should visit. The listing is followed by a brief descriptions of each site. Each travel goal has been carefully chosen by the author to ensure that the most unique and extraordinary places of the world are listed and described. All the sites on the UNESCO World Heritage List are included. You will not find the tired and stale tourist traps often listed in packaged tours, but, rather 1,000 of the world's most beautiful, most interesting and most adventuresome places.
