There's 30 packs to open and every pack you'll get one character card and battle cards. When you remove the wrapper you'll see two protective card-board to keep the character card safe and damage free. This card is packed full of transformer greatness you cant help but love G1 and movie versions (not that there's any movie version character cards just yet) But as always transformers cross over to different universes and this is no difference. You can see the classic G1 Prime and Transformers Prime version Arcee in the first wave. You'll receive the battle cards in another wrapper with 4 commons, 1 rare and 2 uncommon. Overall I think its better to buy the booster boxes than singles cause you could get a higher chance to get the two best cards Grimlock or Nemesis Prime. Firstly the game itself is actually a lot better than I had ever hoped, as both a long time Transformers fan and CCG fan. It's pretty simple to play, pretty honest to the characters, but you can just see how it's going to expand and get more intricate over time. It's also quite good to look at. Just don't go getting your hopes up of getting the cards you want, even by buying boxes. While the two Super Rare characters are touted as being 1:79 packs, my actual experience with buying these cards is triple that. ‘Photon Bomb’ is the battle card that seems to be rarest; I have six of every battle card in the game, bar Photo Bomb. Of that, I have only two and in all fairness, that might be just dumb luck. I would still recommend this game to both people who were there when G1 Transformers happened and/or people who were there when CCG's happened. You really only need to buy six packs and you'll have enough battle cards to start playing the game, so a box of 30 will give you and your friend a semi-decent deck each and a wide choice of characters to play with. That, and there's no reason why you can't have Optimus team up with Megatron… Pure awesomeness ;)
