Author Biography

Michael Grenfell is lecturer in education at Southampton University where he is in charge of modern language teacher training. He has worked extensively as a modern language and EFL teacher in England and Europe. He lectures, writes and researches on various topics in applied linguistics, teacher education and second language learning and teaching.
