Description

Picking-up just weeks after where "TORN 1861" leaves off, the second volume in the series commences with Union troops surging into the South. Battles, larger in scale than those fought the previous year, are waged from North Carolina to Louisiana, on land and on water. The fights depicted include Fort Donelson, Shiloh, Forts Jackson and St. Phillip, Williamsburg and Seven Pines/Fair Oaks. The participants include Joe Johnston, Albert Sidney Johnston, George Custer, and Winfield Scott Hancock, as well as a few new names.
