Author Biography:

Thomas Rain Crowe is the author of the children's book The Wake Up Man (Grateful Steps Publishers, 2011) as well as numerous other books and articles, including the award-winning memoir Zoro's Field: My Life in the Appalachian Woods (University of Georgia Press, 2005). After living in such cities as San Francisco and Paris, he now lives in the quiet mountain farming community of Tuckasegee in rural western North Carolina.
