Author Biography

Bernadette McDonald is former Vice-President, Mountain Culture at The Banff Center in Calgary, Alberta and director of The Banff Mountain Film and Book Festivals. The author of "The Crystal Horizon" and "Free Spirit," Reinhold Messner is often cited as the greatest mountain climber of all time.
