Description

This book is intended as a field guide for beach explorers, skindivers and scuba divers. The author has given a photograph and brief description for each common, and many not so commonly found species of plants and animals-its size, shape, colour and habitat. Some additional characteristics may also be included in the general description of the group of organisms.

Author Biography:

Rick holds a degree in Biological Sciences, and works as a fisheries biologist. He is also an ardent underwater photographer, and it is his magnificent pictures which grace the pages of this colorful book. A diver since 1972, he has explored the ocean's lifeforms along the coasts from Alaska to California, in regions of the Atlantic, and Greece.
