When Lou McCartney, fashion reporter on The Post, finds out that her estranged half-sister Scarlett has gone missing in Japan, she's left reeling. Author Biography

Born in Hampshire, Sam Baker studied politics at Birmingham University before embarking on a career in journalism. She has been the editor of various women's magazines including COMPANY and COSMOPOLITAN. She is currently the editor of RED magazine. Sam is married to the award-winning novelist Jon Courtenay Grimwood and lives in Winchester, Hampshire, and central London. This is her second novel, after the acclaimed FASHION VICTIM.
