Description

Thinking, Periodically is a humorous, poetic look at the ups and downs of life through the eyes of a chemist. This illustrated collection of clever, rhyming couplets will entertain science enthusiasts and inspire them to engage creatively with important concepts in chemistry.

Author Biography:

Author Mala L. Radhakrishnan loves chemistry so much that she is made entirely out of atoms and molecules. A computational biophysical chemist and faculty member at Wellesley College, her periodic thinking oscillates between her work, her wonderfully entertaining family, and various other interests that are fulfilling yet always seem to increase the entropy of her surroundings. Illustrator Mary O'Reilly is a freelance science illustrator and mom of two boys. Like the illustrations in this book, she sees no boundaries between life, science, and art.
