Author Biography:

Jane McManus is a sports writer and media personality whose work has appeared in Deadspin, ESPN, The New York Times, New York Daily News, USA Today, and other outlets. She recently served as Executive Director for the Center for Sports Media at Seton Hall University and was previously Director of The Center for Sports Communication at Marist College. Glenn Stout served as an editor for the Best American Sports Writing series for 30 years and is the founding editor of The Year's Best Sports Writing. He is the author of several books including The Young Woman and the Sea, Fenway 1912, and Tiger Girl and the Candy Kid.
