Description

The Two-Part Christian Gospel is a 9-session study which emphasizes the two aspects of the gospel: the gospel of the kingdom of God and the gospel of God. Taken together, these two aspects of the gospel provide a balanced view of the gospel message to repent, believe, and receive. Thus, Book 6 serves as an introduction to WitW Part 2, which is entitled The Gospel of the Kingdom of God; this aspect of the gospel is emphasized in the Synoptic Gospels and the Book of Acts, and it appeals most strongly to the Jewish mind. It also serves as an introduction to WitW Part 3, which is entitled The Gospel of God; this aspect of the gospel is emphasized in the Pauline Epistles, and it appeals most strongly to the Gentile mind. Your understanding of and appreciation for the Christian gospel will be greatly enhanced through these studies.

Author Biography:

Dr. Briggs is a graduate of Trinity College & Seminary with a PhD in Biblical Studies. He has held various faculty and dean positions at Trinity Southwest University in Albuquerque, NM. He founded Daystar Institute/NM, Inc. to fulfill his passion to train men and women in practical Christian theology and uncompromising discipleship. His ministry now extends to Africa where Daystar Institute/Africa is actively training men and women in the Walking in the Way of Christ and the Apostles curriculum as an instrument for cultural renewal across Africa.
