Author Biography:

Jack Kerouac (1922-1969) was born in Lowell, Massachusetts to French-Canadian parents. The author of On the Road, Dharma Bums, Desolation Angels, and Big Sur, among other books, he is widely regarded as the preeminent writer of the Beat generation.
