Description

Michael Sinclair took to the road to escape his own past, pain and memories. Wandering from town to town, never staying in one place long enough to make friends or set down any roots. When he entered the small town of Willoughby, he expected it to be exactly the same of all the others that he had passed through. When he meets the gorgeous owner of the the local bed and breakfast, things soon begin to change. While escaping the ghosts of his old life he begins to find the potential for a new one. Within no time at all he develops feeling for this beautiful, independent woman, and her energetic daughter. For the first time in a long time, he begins to know what it is like to belong to a family. This soon begins to change when ghosts from the past of this new love begin to threaten the woman he loves and her child. Michael must choose between running again as he always has, or turning to confront a danger that he never expected, or was prepared to encounter. What will be the ultimate cost of his happiness?

Author Biography:

Robert Jones entered into the writing world with the publishing of his first book The Stranger. His second novel The Rise of Evil, is due out in print by late 2010, with many more planned in the upcoming years. Robert's books are all currently being represented by Alberta Rose Publishing, in Alberta, Canada. When not occupying his time writing, Robert has worked at just about every type of job imaginable, from a bartender, to a computer technician, to a heavy equipment operator. Born in Edmonton, Alberta, third child of Robert Sr. (a farmer) and Sigrun (a teacher), Robert always had an interest in Canadian history, and trivial tales of life in the snow covered, Canadian north. Other projects that Robert currently has in the works is a series of children's stories titled Princess Erika. This is a project he began back in 2001 and has been slowly working on through the years. Robert also has plans to start work on a sci-fi novel, as well as a second children's series based on the antics of Carter, his neighbor's adventurous son. Happily, Robert has gathered a lot of help and support in his adventures in writing from all different sources, such as his friends, family, and even past employers. To all those people he will be eternally grateful, and work hard not to disappoint them.
