Description

1929. The publication of this book was originally undertaken by the Central Education Committee of the Society of Friends, in response to a suggestion from Lancashire and Cheshire Quarterly Meeting that a short and continuous history of their Society was a pressing need. The present edition includes a new chapter on the Great World War and some other alterations and additions, which bring the story right down to the Yearly Meeting of 1928.
