Author Biography:

Isabel Anderson (1876-1948), née Isabel Weld Perkins, was a Boston heiress, author, war volunteer, and society hostess. She traveled extensively with her husband, an American diplomat who, among other postings, was at one point in his career the US Ambassador to Japan.
