Description

MANY ARE SAYING THAT CHRISTENDOM, THE FOUNDATION UPON WHICH OUR NATION WAS BUILT AND THE GLUE THAT HAS HELD US TOGETHER FOR ALL THESE DECADES, IS IN RUINS. HOW IS A CHRISTIAN TO LIVE "THE ABUNDANT LIFE" IN THIS GATHERING DARKNESS? Jesus promised peace, joy, and victory in this life. How can believers find that life in a world of hurt and darkness? That is the question this book addresses. It will challenge you to: - love freely as God loves you - know God as you know yourself - hear God's call to faith that changes your life - awaken you to hope that keeps you going when you want to quit - be aware of ordinary miracles and unexpected blessings every day - find generosity and satisfaction serving God and others - live Easter every day Jim Kitchens has carefully described the path for us to walk in this inspiring and encouraging book. May you see clearly and be drawn into a deep understanding of the life you were made to live and the path you were meant to walk. Mark McLendon, Executive Pastor, First Baptist, Nacogdoches, TX I have read the stories which this powerful storyteller presents in this book. It is his heart-felt tenderness that leads us to a life of compassion both for our self and for the other, based on the love of God. This short, beautiful book is truly a gift to the world from Jim Kitchens. Suzanne Hales, LPC, LMFT, EdD, Jungian Analyst, McKinney, TX
