The Shabbat Treasure is a Jewish children's book that shares a message of Shalom Bayit (peace in the home), balance between work and play, and the importance of both Tzedek (justice) and Chesed (kindness). "A PERFECT SHABBAT PICTURE BOOK TO READ AROUND THE SHABBAT TABLE WITH SIBLINGS, FRIENDS AND FAMILY." The Shabbat Treasure is a story based on an original one-woman-and-a-puppet stage show by Evelyn Goldfinger, creator of the Jewish educational theater ensemble Torahtron.

Author Biography:

Evelyn Goldfinger is an award-winning researcher, theater director, playwright, performer and educator. Evelyn runs Torahtron, a profesional theater ensemble, engaging children and adults through shows, workshops and classes. Evelyn lives in sunny Miami, where she serves a Cantorial Soloist, enhancing spiritual practices for individuals and families through singing, stories and prayer.
