Author Biography:

Brian Cox is a former member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. During his service with Canada's national police agency, he was a member of the Criminal Investigation Branch, the Drug Squad, and the National Crime Intelligence Section. He was also an instructor in the RCMP in-service training Branch and an instructor with the Canadian Police College (the Canadian equivalent to the FBI Academy). After leaving the Force, he spent several years as a security consultant and remains in the law enforcement field as International Project Manager of the Northwest Law Enforcement Academy and a Board member of the International Police College. Rob Knight is a seasoned media veteran, whose awareness of child safety and protection increased dramatically after a marketing contract stint with a leading security and investigations firm. Mr. Knight is an award-winning radio copywriter, and has taught and lectured in this field at the high school, college and university levels. He also has written for and edited numerous publications representing various industries, professions and organizations.
