Author Biography:

Christopher J. Voparil is on the Graduate Faculty of UnionInstitute & University in Cincinnati, OH, where he teachesphilosophy and political theory. He is the author of RichardRorty: Politics and Vision (2006) , and has publishedarticles in Contemporary Pragmatism, Journal of SpeculativePhilosophy, Philosophy and Social Criticism, and Educationand Culture. He is also the current Secretary of the Societyfor the Advancement of American Philosophy. Richard J. Bernstein is Vera List Professor of Philosophyat the New School for Social Research, New York. Hismost recent book is The Pragmatic Turn (Polity,2010).
