Author Biography:

Tony Williams is a successful author whose first book was published in 1994. His book, Island of Dreams, published by Penguin Books, was a nonfiction story about the author's quest for paradise. It was serialized in the Daily Mirror over a five day period and appeared in several other newspapers and magazines. After the book's release, Tony was featured on the Richard and Judy television chat show. The book became an international best seller. Tony published a second nonfiction book in 1997, The Forgotten People. The book was also serialised in the Daily Mail. The book detailed the author's trip to a reservation in North America. Timewatch documentary Before Columbus 1997. About his trip to America. Tony's third book was Black Pearls, published by Gomer 2000, about his solo trip to the South Seas. Orion published Uncle Jack hardback in 2005. On launch of the book, it became an instant bestseller. Tony appeared on numerous radio and television shows, such as the Richard and Judy show on Channel 4. Richard Madeley, the presenter, announced: "I think he's got him...extraordinary...amazing."The book was serialized in the Daily Mail. Other newspapers were enthusiastic about Uncle Jack. Sunday Express: "If author Tony Williams is right, he has solved the crime of the millennium... a fascinating and convincing solution to one of history's most blood - curdling crimes." The Observer printed: "The book has sent shockwaves through the historical and medical community." The Mirror: "[A] believable account." Western Mail: "Sensational." And, The Daily Mail: "A fascinating new book." The paperback came out in 2006, while posters appeared throughout London and the underground with a picture of the knife and the caption: "Is this Jack the Ripper's knife?" Uncle Jack was reprinted in 2011, an updated version, and again appeared in all national newspapers. Tony also did radio and magazine interviews. Tony has recently completed a screenplay 2016, based on his first book Island of Dreams. It features Piers Morgan who plays a part in his story.
