I love this movie, it is a classic. I am not the end-of-the-world movies fan because the ones I saw prior were meaningless, relying too much on special effects to impress. I hired The Postman not knowing what to expect after reading some of the negative reviews from critics and critics alike. Well, the film is great. It kept my attention from beginning to end. It has powerful and meaningful message: we are fragile and it is easy to fall in hands of tyranny. A stupid war could end our civilization. The acting, the cinematography, the special effects are fantastic. This movie is pure enjoyment and I will watch it again and again for many years to come.
