Author Biography:

Dr Yoke-Lian Lee’s research focus is on poststructuralist feminist reading of sovereignty and subjectivity, with specific interest in international and human rights law and the discursive practice of law in the construction of gendered subjectivities in world politics. She teaches at the University of Keele and is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Balkan and Near Eastern Studies.
