Author Biography:

JANETTE SEBRING LOWREY has the distinction of being the author of the bestselling picture book of all time. GUSTAF TENGGREN came to the United States from Sweden in 1920. He provided much of the concept artwork for the Walt Disney films Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Pinocchio. Tenggren illustrated many classic Golden Books including The Saggy Baggy Elephant and Tawny Scrawny Lion.
