The Outline of Parapsychology states that parapsychology has a different philosophical background from the existing science and religions, and posits that pantheism could be the theoretical basis of parapsychology. The book also integrates parapsychology with oriental philosophies and New Age movement thought.

Author Biography:

Jesse Hong Xiong received his Ph.D. in philosophy from NanKai University in China. He has been a visiting scholar in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Toronto, Canada. Xiong is also a researcher and writer.
