‘Ruins of the North’ is the companion volume to the ‘Rivendell’ supplement for ‘The One Ring’ (TOR) RPG. It takes the background information provided in ‘Rivendell’ regarding the Middle-Earth region of Eastern Eriador (the land between Bree and Rivendell), and fleshes it out further with adventures that will send players out from the sanctity and safety of Rivendell to a variety of locations such as the haunted Barrow-downs, the mist-shrouded hills of Weathertop, the treacherous Trollshaws, and the ruins of the former kingdom of the Witch-King of Angmar (leader of the Nazgûl). For those unsure about how to use the region of Eastern Eriador in their games (or lack the time and/or creativity to confidently create adventures in this region themselves), ‘Ruins of the North’ would be of great assistance.
