Author Biography:

Cora Reef has been telling tales for as long she can remember. She might not have grown up in a large family like Simon’s, but her big imagination has always kept her company. Cora lives near Boston, Massachusetts, with her family, where she is never far from the ocean. Jake McDonald graduated from the University of Brighton with a degree in illustration and now specializes in digital illustration for kids. His work can be found across the world, proudly sitting on bookshop shelves in Asia, Europe, and the United States. Taking a playful approach to illustration, Jake is inspired by all things storytelling, from board games to Studio Ghibli. He credits a childhood meeting with Chris Riddell for showing him the potential for the career that he loves.
