PAMELA BROOKS is a freelance author and journalist who has lived in Norwich for over 20 years. She has a keen interest in local history and is the author of Norwich: Street by Street (2006), The Norfolk Almanac of Disasters (2007) and Heroes, Villains and Victims of Norfolk (2008) all published by Breedon. She also writes romantic fiction as Kate Hardy; she was shortlisted for the Romantic Novelists' Association Romance Prize in 2006.
