Author Biography:

Christopher Rowland is Dean Ireland’s Professor of Exegesis of Holy Scripture at the University of Oxford and a Fellow of Queen's College, Oxford. His previous publications include The Open Heaven (1982), The Book of Revelation (1998), Christian Origins (revised edition, 2002), Radical Christian Writings: A Reader (Blackwell, 2002), and, with Judith Kovacs, Revelation (Blackwell, 2004). Christopher Tuckett is Professor of New Testament Studies in the University of Oxford and a Fellow of Pembroke College, Oxford. His previous publications include The Revival of the Griesbach Hypothesis (1983), Reading the New Testament (1986), Q and the History of Early Christianity (1996), Luke (1996) and Christology and the New Testament (2001).
