Author Biography:

Gary LaCoste began his illustration career in the toy and game industry, where his clients included Hasbro, Nickelodeon, and Lego. He has illustrated more than 25 children's books. Gary lives in western Massachusetts with his wife, Miranda, and daughter, Ashley. Steve Tomecek, a.k.a. the "Dirtmeister," is a well-known science educator and author who leads science workshops for teachers and students all over the country. He is the author of the award-winning Bouncing & Bending Light and Simple Attractions (W. H. Freeman), as well as Teaching Electricity -- Yes You Can! (Scholastic). Steve lives in New York.
