Description

After his defeat of the Chaos Lord Arioch, Prince Corum has little time to rest. His actions have angered Arioch's sister, Xiombarg, known as the Queen of the Swords.The Prince in the Scarlet Robe must fight on, facing the formidable Mabden armies, and taking on the might of the Queen of the Swords herself. Faced with immense powers of evil on all sides, Corum must reach the City of the Pyramid. But first he will encounter nightmarish creatures, unsettling sorcery, and uncanny new planes of existence.

Author Biography:

Mike Baron is best known for titles such as for The Badger, Ginger Fox, Spyke, and Feud. He has also written numerous other mainstream characters including Batman and several Star Wars adaptations for Dark Horse Comics. He has been nominated for Best Writer in the Kirby, Harvey, and Eisner Awards, and has won two Eisners ("Best Single Issue" and "Best Writer/Artist Team" both with Steve Rude) for his work on Nexus. Mike Mignola created the comic book series Hellboy for Dark Horse Comics. He has worked for animation projects such as Atlantis: The Lost Empire and the adaptation of his one shot comic book, The Amazing Screw-On Head. He also wrote the screenplays of the 2004 Hellboy film adaptation and its 2008 sequel Hellboy II: The Golden Army, together with their director Guillermo del Toro and will co-write the script for the reboot film, Hellboy.
