In an earlier book, The Fish, I revealed how I came to discover a secret hidden within the Septuagint and Greek New Testament. If you knew the secret, you could represent all of the Scripture texts into their intended parableStories. The literary form of these parableStories give their intended meaning. After I came to learn the secret I realized that it was over 2600 years old. That means, for example, that I could easily come to know the intended meaning of the love story within the Book of Ruth that has been hidden from us by almost three millennium. Why didn't the inspired writers reveal their secret? I don't know. This I do know: the writers of every Book, Letter and gospel of the New Testament also knew the secret; and they didn't reveal it to us either. Therefore, we know that it was lost a second time. From now on it won't be lost, for it gives us the intended meaning of every verse of the Bible. Since I know the secret, you will immediately understand the puspose of this book. It will give you the intended meaning of the Mark gospel, for it will be shown to you in its intended literary form: Thirty-one parableStories. Each gives meaning to the one preceding it and each sets the stage for the one following it. This is the intention of every text within the Greek New Testament and, of course, within the Greek Septuagint. When you read the synoptic gospels carefully you will come to realize that Jesus tought his disciples the secret, for efter his teachings to the crowds we are told that he explained the meaning of eveything to his disciples. The writers of the synoptic gospels have informed us, 'The time is coming when eveything that is hidden will be revealed, and all that is secret will be made known.' For some reason that time is now, so take advantage of it. Sadly, however, the secret has not been accepted well by the Biblical scholars with whom I have shared it; for it turns many of their teachings upside down! This book will also reveal to you the meaning of many of the metaphors used within these parableStories; all of them will come as a surprise to you.
