"Fascinating: the best game I've"
5 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

This is pure adventure, and is the best game I've ever played. It has an intricate and fascinating story, and you can't help feeling deeply involved with the main character, April Ryan.

There is no fighting, or violence (well nothing of consequence), and you can't die.

It does involve a lot of conversations with other characters, and in some places a lot of reading. There is also a suitable amount of humour.

There are two characters who do use the F… word a lot, and the game would NOT be suitable for children for the above two reasons (reading and swearing).

It has been put out as a 4CD set, a 2CD set and a DVD. I strongly recommend the latter.

If you do get into this, don't bother about the sequel, Dreamfall-the longest journey: this is technically superior, but does have fighting and dying, and is very difficult to play.

The Longest Journey is also the longest game! For pure adventurers, a must!
