Description

There is nothing 'little' about the history of Norfolk! However, this small volume condenses that fascinating, rich history into a collection of stories and facts that will make you marvel at the events our county has witnessed. This book will take you through Norfolk's eventful history from the earliest times through to the present day. From the discovery of flint tools dating back to the Lower Paleolithic era, to Roman occupation, the creation of the Norfolk Broads during the Middles Ages, and the growth of the textile industry during the Industrial Revolution, Norfolk has always been at the forefront of innovation and the development of our nation. Take a journey through Norfolk's historic struggles and celebrations or jump in to the era of your choice to discover the who, what and why of our county's history. AUTHOR: John A.
