Author Biography:

Robert Young is professor of marine science and associate provost for research at Coastal Carolina University. Annalisa Berta is professor emerita of biology at San Diego State University and the author of Sea Mammals (Princeton). Tugce Okay is a natural history illustrator who works primarily with watercolors. Her work has appeared in many books and magazines.
