Description

Make it up and make it happen! We've been making up your life since the day we were born. Much of the time we don't know we're doing it. We think, act and interact habitually, unconsciously and based on what has already been done. That works great! Until it doesn't work anymore. The Little Book of Creativity is a bestselling book that you can read to get inspired or that you can use as an oracle. Concentrate on a question or issue. Open the book at random page. Apply the insight to what's on your mind. The 64 eye-opening insights are paired with suggestions to work with them. The introduction explains 'The IDEAL Cycle for creating results'. It guides you from vague feelings via inspired visions to immediate action (the SurvivalVersion) to help you shape your life, job, relationships or business the way you want.

Author Biography:

George Parker is an internationally successful corporate speaker, storyteller, and stand-up illusionist. He has dedicated his life to exploring and inspiring the process of transformation. George's performing and teaching is grounded in his lifelong studies of theories of change in such fields as biology, psychology, physics, philosophy, and organizational management. It is also grounded in his own intentional, practical efforts to explore radical transformation in his own life-efforts that have taken him from studying pedagogics/child psychology (his university degree), to working in health care, then as a programmer/system developer, salesman, trainer, project manager, and consultant. George has performed thousands of shows and keynotes in over 25 countries. He combines high quality conceptual and intellectual content with great entertainment value. As a result, he is one of the most sought-after, busiest corporate speakers. Alongside his corporate work, George has also written and produced four one-man theater shows: The Fifth Element (2006), The Death and Resurrection Show (2009), 52 Cards and a Joker (2012), and The Hero's Journey (2017). He has performed these highly successful shows in many cities, including Las Vegas and London, and he travels internationally to teach magic and lecture for magicians. He is an "at large" faculty member of the McBride Magic & Mystery School in Las Vegas and has been both a Keynote Presenter (2006) and Guest of Honor (2018) at its annual Magic and Meaning Conference. In addition to his performances and presentations, George Parker is an internationally recognized author. For magicians and mentalists, he is the author of INDEX-terity: A Revolutionary Approach to a Powerful Tool (Theory and Art of Magic Press, 2012), Performing Magic with Impact (with Larry Hass, Theory and Art of Magic Press, 2018) and initiator and co-author of Gift Magic: Performances that Leave People with a Souvenir (Theory and Art of Magic Press, 2010). For magicians and non-magicians alike, he is the author of two books on the creative process that are extraordinary bestsellers in the Netherlands: Het Kleine Boek van de Creativiteit (2001 -'The Little Book of Creativity') and Het Grote Boek van de Creativiteit (2004, 'The Big Book of Creativity'). He is also the author of TheCreationGame(R) Carddeck (2009), a card game/practice that inspires fun and thoughtful creative transformations for the participant.
