This movie is for everyone who has ever enjoyed an animated movie. It has a lot of humour and a lot of emotion. I always get teary at one particular scene, to make that more impressive note that I am a 16 year old male. Later on Simba gets stressed with all his problems and breaks down. The story is great.
The other reason you ARE going to buy this dvd is because of the music. They use a complete range of catchy african beats combined with Elton John's best work. It's also quite funny to watch lions dance.
Don't be too excited about the new song. The part it replaces was hilarious and the song meerly gets in the way of the scene. The extra features on the DVD seem unneccesary but that's not why you should buy this. Buy it for the beauty of the art, plot and music. 5 stars, no doubt.
