I have just moved to WA so was interested to read a story set in the south & found the details of the light house operations fascinating

Author Biography

M. L. Stedman was born and raised in Western Australia, and now lives in London. The Light Between Oceans is her first novel and has so far been translated into over thirty languages. It has been a bestseller around the world, including Australia, Italy, Denmark, Canada, Ireland, the UK and America, where it reached no.4 on The New York Times hardback fiction list. Work is now underway to turn it into a major film. The novel has also won many awards in Australia, including the ABIA Book of the Year 2013, The Indie Award for Book of the Year and the Nielsen BookData 2013 Bookseller's Choice Award. It was also voted Best Historical Novel of 2012 by members of Goodreads.
